Family Day Long Weekend

Published by paul

So this weekend we have the first long weekend of the year, Family Day weekend. It's nice to have a little break, especially when the weather can still be pretty nasty.

As Febuary draws to and end, it's always a good sign that the better weather is on the way, that said we are expecting another 10cm of snow tonight. But it's a step in the right direction for sure!

It's always interesting to observe our animals when a storm front is in our midst, the balls and boas activity levels increase, as do the copulations from some tricky males and females.

This past week we started to pair up the African Fat tailed geckos, and tomorrow we will begin to pair up all the leos and crested geckos.

Apart from actual hatching time this is my favourite time of year for sure as it's excting to see all the potential pairings and your mind can run away with itself with all the possible outcomes :)

That's about it for now, exciting times (and better weather) are ahead!

Cheers

Paul
